I work with people who are temporarily overwhelmed by life. My specialty is working with people who are experiencing challenges with life transitions and/or mental health: symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma or other stress.
I help people develop a deeper awareness of what’s happening in the moment so they can gain clarity and insight around their current way of living. Together, we use movement, supported postures, breath-work, gentle encouragement and new awarenesses to explore what’s present and tap into their strengths to make a change.
I started practicing yoga nearly 20 years ago, and since then I’ve witnessed huge transformations in myself; these transformations have shaped my well-being, relationships and my view of the world. As a licensed clinical professional counselor, I’ve experienced the benefits of mindfulness & breath work with many clients; this encouraged me to shift my current focus from psychotherapy to yoga therapy and life mentoring.
In addition to my love of yoga, I enjoy getting outdoors with my husband and son. We recently relocated back to my hometown of Plymouth, MA, and I'm excited to spend time at the beach and in the mountains of New England.
Before jumping into Yoga Therapy or Therapeutic Life Mentoring, I like to see clients for a Discovery Session. The Discovery Session provides an opportunity for you to learn more about what I do, while sharing more about what your needs are. We go over initial paperwork, we dive more deeply into what’s bringing you in for services, and you experience a yoga therapy session that’s based on your individual needs.
This yoga therapy session is intended to give you a taste of what to expect in our work together while giving me more information about what might support you best.
Yoga therapy sessions are aimed at getting you into your body, creating a climate where you can explore what’s happening in the moment and how it relates back to the way you are currently living. At the end of the session, it’s all pulled together in an integration, which provides the space for establishing next steps. At the conclusion of the yoga therapy experience, time is left to review what’s possible in this work and the options for getting there.
Discovery Sessions are private and last about 75-90 minutes. Cost is $150.
Experience with yoga is not necessary for this service to be effective.

In a yoga therapy session, we use movement, guided meditative experiences, supported yoga postures, empathetic listening and contemporary body-mind psychology to facilitate self-exploration. You’ll explore physical sensations, thoughts, feelings or emotions that may be contributing to patterns that get in the way of living the life you want to live.
The yoga therapy experience is different for everyone; it’s difficult to put into words what the experience “will be like” because of this. Some people notice physical experiences, while others notice emotional ones. It’s my job to help clients explore whatever is coming up; this gives clients the space to discern the meaning for themselves.
Yoga therapy sessions are private and last 60 minutes. Sessions cost $100.
Experience with yoga is not necessary for this modality to be effective. Sessions are offered on Fremont Street in Plymouth, MA and are by appointment only.

Life Mentoring (LM) sessions are a more substantial version of yoga therapy. LM is designed to support you in making a meaningful life change. Are you going through a life transition or feeling overwhelmed and not sure how to cope? Then, LM might be for you.
LM includes everything a yoga therapy session does and more. Self-exploration and deepening awareness is an integral part of the process, and we use check-ins, movement, guided meditative experiences, supported yoga postures, dialogue, and action steps.
What makes LM different: there’s more opportunity for digging deeper and there’s more emphasis on accountability, there’s more checking in, both before a session and between sessions, there’s more guidance around action steps, and attention is placed on progress.
LM, like yoga therapy, is different for everyone. So it’s hard to say what the experience “will be like” because it depends on your experiences in the moment, as well as, what’s happening in your day-to-day life. LM is about working toward the kind of shift that does not happen overnight. Together, we define the change that needs to happen, we work on implementing action steps that help facilitate change, and you have an opportunity to embody and fully integrate the change into how you’re living.
Life Mentoring sessions are private and last about 60 minutes.
Sessions are sold in packages of 3 and cost $375.

Private yoga is customizable to client needs. Individual and group sessions are available. Students will feel their strength, experience their breath and feel challenged, in a good way. Hatha, vinyasa flow, yin and prenatal styles available.
